Koncept ove radionice zasniva se, kako sam naslov govori, na razvijanju fleksibilnosti u istraživanju pokreta. Radionica se sastoji od niza vježbi kontorzija prilagođenih svim razinama polaznika_ca, u kombinaciji s istraživanjem pokreta.

O voditeljici
ALICE RENDE
Nakon završenog studija na Brazilskoj nacionalnoj cirkuskoj školi i magistriranja izvedbenih umjetnosti na Federalnom sveučilištu u Rio de Janeiru, sudjelovala je u stvaranju predstave Silenzio u režiji Roberta Magra. Godine 2019. predstavila se performansom "Passages" na Grec festivalu u Barceloni. Zatim je nastavila s profesionalnim školovanjem na Ecole Supérieure des Arts du Cirque de Toulouse Occitanie, Esacto'Lido. Trenutno radi na doktoratu na temu vrtoglavice u cirkuskoj umjetnosti i radi na svojoj solo predstavi "Fora". Alice također podučava kontorcionistički pokret u institucijama za profesionalno usavršavanje kao što su FLIC Scuola di Circo (Torino / Italija), Nacionalna škola cirkusa u Châtelleraultu (Francuska) i Nacionalna škola cirkusa u Brazilu (Rio de Janeiro).
Alice je circusnext predselektirana za ediciju 2023. te u Zagrebu boravi upravo na rezidenciji u sklopu circusnext platforme, s projektom »Fora« čiju će te prezentaciju moći pogledati 18.3. u 19h u Velikoj dvorani Pogona Jedinstvo.
Laboratorij cirkuske umjetnosti dio je Programa Cirkorame te se, kao i program circusnext platform provodi u suradnji Cirkorame sa Zagrebačkim centrom za nezavisnu kulturu i mlade -Pogonom, a sufinanciran je sredstvima Kreativne Europe program Europske unije, circusnext, Ministarstva kulture i medija Republike Hrvatske, Gradskog ureda za kulturu, međugradsku i međunarodnu suradnju i civilno društvo Grada Zagreba i Zaklade Kultura nova.

Circus art laboratory with ALICE RENDE (FR): Flexibility on movement research - workshop

The concept of this workshop is based, as the title suggests, on developing flexibility in movement research. The workshop consists of a series of contortion exercises adapted to all levels of participants, combined with movement research.

About the workshop leader
ALICE RENDE
After completing her studies at the Brazilian National Circus School and a master's degree in performing arts at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, she participated in the creation of the Silenzio directed by Roberto Magro. In 2019, she performed "Passages" at the Greek Festival in Barcelona. She then continued her professional education at the Ecole Supérieure des Arts du Cirque de Toulouse Occitanie, Esacto'Lido. She is currently working on his PhD on the subject of vertigo in circus art and on her solo show "Fora". Alice also teaches the contortionist movement at professional training institutions such as the FLIC Scuola di Circo (Torino / Italy), the National Circus School of Châtellerault (France) and the National Circus School of Brazil (Rio de Janeiro).
Alice has been pre-selected by circusnext for the 2023 edition and she is staying in Zagreb at the residence in the framework of the circusnext platform, with the project "Fora". Work in progress presentation you can see on 18.3. at 7 p.m. in the Big Hall of Pogon Jedinstvo.
The Circus Art Laboratory is part of the Cirkorama Program and, like the circusnext platform program, is carried out in cooperation between Cirkorama and the Zagreb Center for Independent Culture and Youth - Pogon, and is co-financed by the Creative Europe Program of the European Union, circusnext, the Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia, the City office for culture, intercity and international cooperation and civil society of the City of Zagreb and the Kultura nova Foundation.
